The online source for America's Living Legends.         JUNIOR TRAINERS

 The USWHBA Junior Trainers

The purpose of the Junior Trainers Program is to educate and prepare the next generation of Mustang and Burro trainers. Junior trainers work with experienced Mustang and Burro handlers, learning the techniques necessary to gentle and train the wild Mustang and Burro.

Kristen O. and Emilie B. from New Jersey have been helping me at the farm since the summer of 2009.  They are both looking forward to coming out and helping again this summer. So I got the idea to start a Junior Trainers Page on our web site. These ladies are fantastic both as riders as well as with the horses. They helped me saddle train Sage and Soleil.

. Emilie and Kristen were at our farm helping with fosters we had in, and riding or playing with our 3 mustangs.

We are going to have a lot of horses this year that need to be trained and these girls will get to put all of what they learned last year and more, into the horses this year. I am really looking forward to working with them both again. Please keep checking back as we will have pictures up as all the horses training progresses, along with the trainers that are working with them. We would love to hear from other junior mustang trainers and post their stories and pictures on our site as well. We are only using first name, last initial, and state, as they are juniors.

Sincerely, Robin Rivello

President-USWHBA
